200 g Feta (block, not crumbled)

4 sheets of filo or yufka dough

3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)

2 tbsp honey

1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)

Fresh thyme or sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Cut the feta into 4 equal-sized sticks.

  • Place one feta stick on the edge of a filo sheet. Fold the sides over the cheese and roll tightly into a cigar shape.

  • Brush each roll with olive oil or melted butter.

  • Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

  • Meanwhile, warm the honey in a small pan and stir in the chili flakes.

 

  • Once the rolls are baked, drizzle with chili-honey and garnish with thyme or sesame seeds.
